Show less...dancers want and how to fill the dance floor every time! These pioneers of the “Nouveau Zydeco” genre play music deeply rooted in traditional Louisiana Creole sound, with strong Cajun influences, a touch of Country and Western, and total danceability. Accordionist frontman Geno Delafose was born and raised in Eunice, Louisiana, the son of the late great zydeco player, John Delafose, and began his career at the age of 8 playing with his dad’s band the Eunice Playboys.
